1,440 of them, one for every minute of the day. The one you were born at, the one you launch at, the one nobody else thought about. What it costs depends on what it is: quiet minutes start at $7, and 11:11 does not.

A web address and one line. We read the icon straight off your site, so there is nothing to upload — and no account to make, because a minute belongs to a website, not to a person.

Pay the price on it
One page, one payment, straight to checkout. There is exactly one price on any minute at any moment and the server quotes it again before it charges you, so the number you clicked is the number you pay.

No rent, no expiry, no renewal, nothing to log back into. Four tiers out of five are sold once and closed — there is no price at which your minute changes hands again. Prime is the exception: it stays open to anyone paying 5% more, and when that happens you are not refunded.

Questions
- Do I need an account?
- No. You type a web address, a line about it, and a price. Everything else — your email, your card, your billing details — is handled by the payment processor on their own page and never touches this app.
- Why is 11:11 not the same price as 11:12?
- Because nobody wants 11:12 the way they want 11:11. A minute is priced on two things: whether its digits make a shape anyone can read — a palindrome, a repeat, a run — and whether it falls in an hour people are awake for. Landing on the hour or the half hour moves a minute up one tier as well.
- Can my minute be taken off me?
- Only in Prime, and only by somebody paying more. Night, Standard, Signature and Icon minutes are sold once: once yours, there is no price at which they change hands again.
- Why would I not just wait for a drop to hit the floor?
- You can, and it is cheaper. It is also how you lose the minute — a drop has no closing time and no reserve queue, so the first site to pay owns it. Every day you wait takes 10% off the price and adds a day of somebody else getting there first.
- Do I have to approve a sale?
- In Prime, no, and you cannot block one. Anyone who pays more than the last price takes the minute automatically. That is what makes the price honest: it is the number you were willing to be bought out at.
- What stops someone taking a Prime minute for a cent more?
- Each takeover has to clear the last price by at least 5%, so a minute cannot be flipped a penny at a time.
- Where does the icon come from?
- Your own site. We read the icon it already declares, and fall back to its favicon. If your site changes its icon, the minute follows.
- What exactly do I own?
- The right to control what is displayed at that minute on ownminute.lol — for good, or until someone pays more if it is a Prime minute. It is a listing, not real property or a security.
- Can I put anything on my minute?
- Any legal, safe-for-work site. Links are nofollow. Malware, impersonation, and hate get the minute reclaimed with no refund.
