Find a minute
1,440 of them, one for every minute of the day. The one you were born at, the one you launch at, the one nobody else thought about. Unclaimed minutes cost $10.

Type your site and what it is
A web address and one line. We read the icon straight off your site, so there is nothing to upload — and no account to make, because a minute belongs to a website, not to a person.

Pay more than the last site did
That is the whole mechanism. If nobody holds it, pay the claim price. If somebody does, pay at least 5% more than they did. You go straight to checkout; the minute is yours the moment the payment clears.

Hold it until someone outbids you
No rent, no expiry, no renewal, nothing to log back into. When somebody finally pays more, your site comes off and theirs goes up. You are not refunded and you get no share of their price — you bought the minute for as long as you were the highest bid, and that is over.

Questions

Do I need an account?: No. You type a web address, a line about it, and a price. Everything else — your email, your card, your billing details — is handled by the payment processor on their own page and never touches this app.
Do I have to approve a sale?: No, and you cannot block one. Anyone who pays more than the last price takes the minute automatically. That is what makes the price honest: it is the number you were willing to be bought out at.
Can I set my own price?: Not directly. The price of a minute is exactly what was last paid for it. If you want to be harder to dislodge, pay more — that is the only lever, and everyone has the same one.
What stops someone taking it for a cent more?: Each claim has to clear the last price by at least 5%, so a minute cannot be flipped a penny at a time.
Where does the icon come from?: Your own site. We read the icon it already declares, and fall back to its favicon. If your site changes its icon, the minute follows.
What exactly do I own?: The right to control what is displayed at that minute on ownminute.lol, until someone pays more. It is a listing, not real property or a security.
Can I put anything on my minute?: Any legal, safe-for-work site. Links are nofollow. Malware, impersonation, and hate get the minute reclaimed with no refund.
